The Community Social Investment Program (CSIP) supports projects which help communities to meet their own sustainable development goals. Project funding is contingent on Board approval.

The CSIP model requires partners to bring their own material and financial resources to the project. PNGSDP may agree to contribute funding provided project partners and communities contribute in cash and material support to significantly increase each project's value and impact on communities, with clear indications of support for future operations and ongoing maintenance costs.
